At the heart of constructing the CCLC is a desire to serve the community by providing a resource to strengthen non-profits and the underserved populations who rely on them, bring people of all backgrounds together and provide working, event and recreation spaces accessible to everyone in our community. We are driven to be a hub for compassion, relationship building and service. To ensure this facility is able to be a sustaining pillar and resource in the community, we have developed an operations model that runs similar to a for-profit business in that it is predominantly based on earned revenue for facility usage. This model ensures our ability to support the heartfelt mission work we are excited to host in this new space, and also function sustainably. The CCLC remains a non-profit entity under the Seven Acres Foundation and we will set aside operational excess funds for the ongoing maintenance and repair needs on our campus.
With a 1,100 sq ft stage and capacity for 630 people, the event space will be able to accommodate things like conferences, weddings, concerts, plays, special events and church services.
The 9,500 sq. ft. gym space will have regulation-sized indoor courts for things like AAU practice space and hosting tournaments. This includes 1 competition basketball court, 2 practice basketball courts, 2 competition volleyball courts and 3 practice volleyball courts.
